Lauren Crummel

Lauren Crummel focuses her practice on employee benefits law and representing Taft-Hartley plans. Lauren assists clients in all facets of multiemployer benefit plan governance including plan design, contract review, fiduciary and regulatory compliance, qualified domestic relations orders and ERISA collections matters. She advises clients in employee benefits law, particularly Taft-Hartley pension, annuity, health care, vacation, labor-management and apprenticeship funds.

Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University in 2006 (cum laude) and received her juris doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2009. While in law school, she participated in the prestigious Trial Practice Institute Certification Program and received the highest award in her Research, Writing, and Advocacy class for oral advocacy.

She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
